If you are still reading, you still might be curious as to why you need a coach. Ask yourself if you are...
Have you ever wondered why professional athletes have a coach? The coach works with the athlete to achieve levels of performance that could not be possible if the athlete were working solo.
Here's what a good coach does:
There is a reason why coaching is now a trend. Once a perk for executives or a tool to coach individuals out of an organization, coaching is an important tool for ensuring success.
You might measure your success by the amount of money in your bank account, if you reach a goal, or, like an athlete, achieving a “personal best.”
Whatever your standard of success is, as yourself, "How much is being successful worth to me?"
At this point, you might be thinking of coaching as an expense. One thing I focus on in coaching is PERSPECTIVE. Begin thinking of coaching as an INVESTMENT. You are investing in yourself.
As your coach, I am here to help you get out of your own way and to step into what is important to you!
Have you ever been in a conversation where someone just told you about working with a coach? It seems that coaching is the big thing these days and anyone can be a coach. Even the colleges and weight loss centers are offering "coaching"services. But what IS a coach and what does a coach do?
Actually, there is more than one definition of a coach and what a coach does. Here's what I do...
I work with individuals to help them become the best possible version of themselves. Through conversation, (yes, coaching is a conversation), I work with you to help you figure out "what's next?" My job is to ask questions and LISTEN. I'm not here to tell you WHAT to do. That's not my job. YOU will ultimately know what to do -- maybe you know already but are not ready to embrace that.
Coaching is like peeling back the layers of an onion -- one layer at a time. We will work together to help you navigate through the change, transition or whatever is on your mind. My questions will cause you to stop, examine and ponder.
The coaching experience is like a dance. In fact, one of the cornerstones of the CTI Co-Active model I follow is "Dance in This Moment." I have no set script or list or questions. Our coaching conversation begins with an agenda... yours. You determine the topic you want to focus on and then we begin. I will challenge you. I will make you accountable. I might even make you uncomfortable. In the end, the light bulb will go off and you will say, "Ah Ha!"
Now that you decided you want a coach, why should you choose me? That's a fair question. You are going to invest valuable time and resources with a coach.
About me...
What I will do for you...
Haven't you waited long enough to step into the best possible you?
I can't wait to work with you!
